Ali is a highly experienced nurse with over 30 years’ experience nursing both in hospitals, in the community and other healthcare settings. She has worked in the NHS, for the charity sector and in private healthcare.

Since 2016, Ali has supported adults and children with complex healthcare needs. She now leads and supports a team of nurses in her role as Complex Care Nurse Manager in the Southwest. She is experienced in working alongside Case Managers and wider multidisciplinary teams to provide support for patients and their families in their own homes and other healthcare settings.

Ali regularly undertakes training to ensure that her skills and knowledge are current and evidence based.

She understands her responsibilities as an expert witness and Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules and has undertaken training on the role and duties of an expert witness.
