I have over 20 years of experience in practice as an Occupational Therapist.
I prepare Civil Procedure Compliant Expert Witness Occupational Therapy Reports for the Court covering a wide variety of complex injuries. My areas of specialty are neurological rehabilitation, progressive neurological conditions, amputation, and orthopaedic injury. I work with clients in all parts of the UK and worldwide.

I qualified in 2003 and have over 20 years of experience in practice as an Occupational Therapist, both in the UK and Australia.
My areas of specialty are neurological and medical /orthopaedic rehabilitation; progressive neurological conditions; amputation; pain management and cognitive impairment.
I am currently working as an independent therapist, primarily with adults with a variety of neurological, orthopaedic, and complex medical conditions (including brain injury and spinal cord injury).
I have extensive experience in completing home assessments, and prescribing a wide range of aids, equipment, and environmental adaptations. My various roles have involved assessment of ADLs, cognition, upper limb function and functional mobility.
I work alongside case managers and the wider multi-disciplinary team to provide cohesive and goal-orientated rehabilitation programmes.
I have experience in helping privately funded individuals and their families insetting-up, co-ordinating and reviewing packages of care.
I provide supervision and mentoring to occupational therapists and occupational therapy students.
I run an organisation that provides a range of functional-based exercise classes and therapy programmes for people with neurological conditions (primarily Parkinson’s disease but also stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury and MS),and that trains and mentors fitness professionals to provide a functional approach to their work with people with a variety of neurological and medical conditions.
I am an active member of the UK Parkinson’s Excellence Network, and regularly provide input to Parkinson’s UK’s programmes, policies, and publications from an occupational therapy perspective.
