Profile

Jade is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, V300 Prescriber, Case Manager and Expert Witness trained in medicine and psychiatry with 25 years’ clinical experience. She has experience of working with children, young people, and adults with both medical and mental health needs in a wide variety of clinical settings. Jade has been described by colleagues and clients as caring, empathic, attentive, responsive, and a professional practitioner who is friendly and approachable.

 

Jade has worked across a wide spectrum of clinical settings including community, primary care, hospitals, A&E, vaccination centres, 111, rehabilitation, and in the prison and secure care settings. Her aim is to deliver care that is holistic, client led, and recovery focused.

 

Jade is highly competent in establishing the client need, recommending and planning care and treatment to meet those needs. Jade has extensive experience in managing challenging behaviour, risk assessment and management with a clear understanding of the challenges for clients exposed to trauma and how injury can impact on all aspects of wellbeing and functioning.

 

Jade has successfully managed and led complex clinical teams and services. She is a highly competent communicator who has achieved positive results using negotiation and mediation to reach the best outcome for all parties.

 

Her role as an Advanced Practitioner encompassed both a clinical and clinical governance role both locally and corporately. She was the Nurse Lead for Medication Management and also for Service Development. She took a leading role in the inspections for CQC and QNIC and ensured that the service and care met the requirements for KPI’s and took a lead in investigations for complaints into patient care and performance, three Day Reviews, Serious Incident Reviews and Post Incident Reviews both locally and also on behalf of the Trust.
