Profile
I am a highly experienced RGN with over 18 years’ experience in acute, community, private sector, and mental health services.
I have significant expertise in tissue viability, with my current role giving me 4 years’ experience as Tissue Viability and Wound Healing Service Lead. I have a successful track record with project work (achieving above standard set) and leading two services.
I have experience presenting at international (European Wound Management Association), national(Wounds UK), and regional level (local conferences).
My specific skills are in tissue viability which includes pressure ulceration, chronic wound management, leg ulcer and lymphoedema management, surgical wounds, self-harm wounds, negative pressure wound therapy, burns, skin tears and dermatology related issues.
Further to nursing qualifications and experience, I have undertaken medico legal training and am aware of my responsibilities as an expert witness under the Civil Procedure Rules.
