Profile
Until April 2024, I worked as the Clinical Director for Dunedin Complex Care supporting a team of regional nurse managers managing care teams for clients with complex conditions including brain injury, spinal cord injury and neurological conditions such as Motor Neuron Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.
I currently work as a Case Manager for Community Case Management Services and as a Consultant Nurse for Complex Care providers. I am responsible for co-ordinating and consulting with appropriate health professionals and care teams to identify total care needs and arrange appropriate care, equipment, and adaptations to support independent living.
I have worked as a Care Expert for four years and complete both Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury reports.
During my nursing career, I worked in hospital, community and private healthcare provision settings and gained knowledge and experience of collaborating with clients and their families, teams, and commissioning groups. I have experience in a variety of clinical roles and have been employed at a senior level by the NHS. I support adults and children with a range of conditions in the areas of complex care, neurological, and medical conditions.
I have extensive experience and a thorough understanding of the effects of pain, illness, and disability on the quality of life. Having led complex care provision for 14 years, I have experience building packages of care, employing nurses and carers across England, Wales and Scotland, and sound regulatory knowledge.
