Profile

Marie has 18 years of experience in diverse clinical settings, including statutory and private occupational therapy, which brings a wealth of expertise to her practice.

Marie specialised in paediatrics, after which she further developed her skills in adult neurological and spinal conditions. Marie maintained a small paediatric caseload in her occupational therapy/case manager private work until January 2021.

Her specialisation in both paediatric and adult care equips Marie with a broad skill set and a comprehensive understanding of the client's journey from acute hospital settings to the long-term impact of injuries in later life.

Currently, and in addition to her role as an Expert Witness, she is an Occupational Therapist at the Walton Foundation Trust, a Specialist Hospital in Neurology, Spinal, and Pain.

Marie also manages a small caseload as an independent case manager for personal injury cases.

Marie's top skills with report writing are her ability to manage her time to assess, research, analyse and make recommendations.

Marie has a proven track record of report writing in occupational therapy and case management, including completing immediate needs assessments, private occupational therapy reports and recommendations for housing adaptations and specialised equipment under the Disabled Facilities Grant.

Marie understands the need to be clear and provide a clear structure and can convey this in her reports. She is trained in the revised Civil Procedures Rules.
