Profile

I am an experienced paediatric nurse with over 18 years of practice since 2005. My expertise extends beyond paediatrics, as I also nurse adult patients, leveraging my specialised skills. My career began in the NHS, where I worked in hospital children’s wards and neonatal units. Later, I transitioned to community settings and special schools.

In the private sector, I held the role of a specialist enteral feeding nurse, providing essential training and conducting competency assessments for staff and the family members of my patients. My focus was always on ensuring optimal care for my patients.

Currently, I work as a complex care nurse. I previously worked with patients receiving home intravenous therapy via central lines. My commitment to excellence remains unwavering, and I continue to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare field.

Since 2021, I have published articles for nurses.co.uk.

In addition to my current clinical role, I provide expert witness reports for court on children with complex care needs.  I regularly undertake appropriate training to ensure that my skills and knowledge are current, and evidence based.

I understand my responsibilities as an expert witness and Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules. I have undertaken training on the role and duties of an expert witness.
