Profile

I am a qualified Registered Nurse with approximately 10 years of experience across different clinical settings.

I currently work in the NHS as a Cardiovascular Research Nurse, coordinating a portfolio of clinical trials focused on novel investigational medical products being either medical devices e.g. heart valves for patients diagnosed with structural heart valve diseases or new drugs for patients with heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

I am involved not only in the clinical trials setup but also in coordinating patients’ screening and recruitment, medical care, data collection and reporting of adverse events, ensuring rigorous standards and patient safety.

Parallel to my permanent role, I have been working as an Operating Theatre Nurse since 2015. This has provided me with broad surgical scrub expertise across numerous specialties such as urology, renal, maxillofacial, ENT surgery, and more, assisting with both complex and minor surgeries. The additional previous role as Infection Control and Prevention link nurse taught me how to maintain high standards of safety and sterility ensuring patient quality care.

I am proficient in multiple languages, including Italian (mother tongue), English and Spanish. I am committed to providing high-quality patient care and advancing clinical research through continuous learning and enhanced clinical practice.
