Profile

I have worked as a qualified Occupational Therapist since 2015 and prior to that worked as an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor in the Community .

I have previously worked in Intermediate Care and Reablement in the Community, in Powered Mobility for Children with neurological conditions or amputations, with Adults with long-term and neurological conditions in the Community, as well as in a Stroke and Complex Injury Inpatient Unit.

I have worked with children with complex neurological conditions and complex care or rehabilitation needs since 2016.

All work settings included provision of equipment, as well as advice for complex posture, seating and manual handling needs. All work settings included advice on home adaptations or referrals for housing adaptations.

Writing OT Assessment reports, Reviews and Risk Assessments, as well as liaising with multidisciplinary health professionals is part of my current employment as Experienced Occupational Therapist for Children and Young People in the Community.

My caseload is varied and generally addresses the need for equipment and adaptations after functional impact of medical conditions on the individual.
