Since graduating from Brunel University in 1998, Yana has worked in a variety of settings and utilises skills developed throughout her career working in community and clinical settings, with both children and adults with a wide range of disabilities, to provide a holistic and clients’ needs-led service.
As a case manager for both adults and children, Yana coordinates all areas of the rehabilitation programme with a client centred approach, sourcing and appointing appropriately qualified and experienced treating therapists. Yana can complete screening programmes in order to instruct multidisciplinary teams to work from a goal- based platform with measurable outcomes to increase independent function.
Having worked in many leading centres of excellence, such as Oxford Centre for Enablement, Royal Hospital of Neuro disability and Penhurst School for children with profound disabilities, Yana has dedicated most of her working career to working with clients with complex physical disabilities, specializing in neurology and in particular brain and spinal injury. Yana’s most recent career challenge was to work in Children’s Integrated Services in the city of Oxford successfully managing a large caseload of children with complex needs. In addition, she was instrumental in training and development of the multi-disciplinary team in management if complex disability.
